Happy 30th Birthday Babe!

For Damon's actual birthday, we went to Tucanos for some yummy Brazilian food. They came out and sang to him in Portuguese and I was quick enough to catch him shakin' the tamborine! I think it ended up being a great bday all around.

Surprise!

Damon turned 30 last week and we surprised him with a party. The bishop was nice enough to get him to the church for me, because he would have known I was up to something if I told him to go to the church. He thought he had to be there for a meeting(hence the suit). I am not sure if he was more excited that everyone was there or that he didn't have to attend the meeting he thought he was going to...but it turned out awesome! Thanks to all of you that came and helped me surprise him, especially those of you who had to travel a ways to get here. He was so surprised he just stood there trying to figure out what was going on. In the end, he loved it!!!

Cookies with Cousins

This week we made some really fun valentine cookies with our cute cousins Raegan and Wyatt. The kids were so cute making the cookies. Emma didn't get very far in decorating her cookies, she wasn't patient enough, she just started eating them. When you are one, you just don't care!

Miya and Raegan got a little farther with their decorating, they ate lots of dough and frosting but then didn't leave much room for cookies.

Then there was Wyatt and let's just say, "boys will be boys". I laughed so hard when he decided to dump flour all over, then he ate so much dough that his mouth was full and so he just gagged it up and all over the floor. Boys are so funny.

It was so fun to get together with cousins. Thanks, Chels for making such yummy cookies. Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!

An unexpected surprise

One good thing that came out of this bitter cold weather was that Damon's power and heat went out at work on Tuesday so everyone was sent home early. We were pretty surprised when Daddy walked in the door at 2:00 instead of 6:00. Miya and Emma were so excited to spend some extra time with Daddy!
